MTV recently declared Wale as one of the MC's to watch in'09. Congrats to the kid, hopefully he'll be one of many deserving cats to make that mainstream crossover this year. Each day they'll be profiling a different artist they think you should keep an eye on this year. Yesterday B.o.B got the nod.

Even though I’m NC born & bred, I’ve always been a huge fan of go-go and the live bands and I can safely say Wale has cuaght my ear. The delivery is bonkers and his lyrics are very thought provoking. I ain’t got nothin’ but high hopes for the dude.
