I heard 2 tracks off this mixtape, sounds all good. Why do mixtapes sound better than albums these days??? IF its more tracks than 10, it should be an album

there used to be a time when cd’s were easily $15-$20. rappers kept on putting out garbage albums with 20 songs. only 5 were good. people got tired of paying so much for so little. the music industry were raping artists and the consumer with their product. now rappers are forced to give away music because the public doesnt believe it will be good until they hear it first. now they make more money off of selling songs than albums. you can buy an album for $5.99 @ amazon but each song is .99 cent. terrible math. other genres dont go through this shit. they still goin platinum. people dont bootleg their albums. smh

Mixtapes sound better than albums because there’s no label pressure so the rappers can do what they want and because they usually don’t worry about sample clearance so producers can do what they want. Rap is big business these days. Mixtapes are still done for fun. That’s all the difference in the world.

why is it that everytime you guys post a new artist release it’s always “Highly anticipateD” but never by someone anyones heard of… this site has become such an ad machine lately
i mean seriously there were times where people like drake wouldnt have been able to make it even on the freestyle board
but i guess its all part of okp trying to look current
while choking the site down with ads
    its kinda wack tho
