Ghostface Killah – Ghostdini: The Wizard of Poetry in Emerald City [Album Stream]

Next Tuesday, Ghostface will be releasing his latest album, Ghostdini: The Wizard of Poetry in Emerald City. In my opinion , Ghost has always been the most consistent member of the Wu, and has never put out a weak offering. After the jump you can check out a full stream of the album (courtesy of imeem), and decide if Ghost is still on top of his game (he is). Make sure to support, and buy the LP on the 29th, if you like what you hear (you will).

What is this? Way too much singing…rather weak Ghost. I’m a die hard wu fan but I can’t really get with all of this, couple of ok joints…so glad for OB4CL II!!! Oh well, back to Iron Man and Supreme Clientele!

This album is fire and a half! It’s refreshing to hear something as honest as this. This is gonna be a special album for Ghost.

Definitely agree, Ghost comes with the consistency; his energy sounds the same as back in 92/93!!! Grown shit, the singin’ ain’t nothing to complain about either. OBFCL II was cool, nowhere near the first one, and although can’t nobody front on Raekwon’s skills…I’m just really not feeling all the crime stories no more. But I’m bout to pull out the Cappo “Pillage” joint though regardless…

I’m a lifelong Wu and more specifically Ghost fan and although I can appreciate this project as he’s said it’d definitely something different, I yearn for the hard shit. It’s kinda like Ghost has been on cruise control since Fishscale. I’ma cop it to support my dude, but I’ma really need him to come back harder than ever. Rae has raised the bar tremendously. Again, it’s not wack, but it’s definitely some other shit. Maybe if I was in love or something or could deal with it, but I prefer the Wildflower Starks over this stuff.
