The Legendary will be back in LA again this year during Grammy season to kick off their much talked about jam, The Roots 6th Annual Jam Session, January 30th, 2010. In case you don’t already know, this historic jam is the industry alternative to all of the other “stuffy” Grammy-related industry events. And it’s always a big, star-studded affair: past performers and guests have included Prince, Gnarls Barkley, Seal, Dave Chappelle, Common, Snoop Dog, Fiona Apple, Jill Scott, Erykah Badu, Spike Lee, Tom Cruise, Don Cheadle, Beyonce, Norah Jones, and so many more. Save your money folks. You will need all the pesos you can get for 2010.
So will they actually sell tickets for the event…the year I went you had to write a 250 word essay to get on the guest list…it said it was only for ONE…I actually went without the wifey…only to find I had two tickets [arm bands actually] waiting…ended up leaving early at an incredible event causes my perfect compliment wasn’t wit a brotha to share the historic event!
