Next Friday April 9th, The 5th annual Trinity Festival kicks off at Trinity College in Hartford, Connecticut. "Founded in the spring of 2006, the Trinity International Hip Hop Festival was created to combat the disunity, segregation, and violence of Hartford, CT and Trinity College. Using the historically education-oriented and politically revolutionary medium—Hip Hop– and focusing on its global potency and proliferation, the Trinity International Hip Hop Festival works to unify Trinity College, the city of Hartford, and the Globe." KRS-One will headline this year's festival, which will also feature performances, lectures, graffiti artistry, and a break dance battle with a $1,500 grand prize. Check after the jump for the full schedule and lineup.

This festival is all the way live! First time I heard about this was when Invincible was there, and ever since I’ve been a fan of hers and the festival, too.
