this is dope! i love soulful hiphop. I like some of Black Spade’s earlier work also. I especially like that tune he and those guys did with the video recently with the beatles feel. Coultrain is super nice wit it as well.
Black Spade is one of my favorite semi new artists.
i’d actually never heard of black spade but this tape has made me a fan. i feel like “soulful” is often overused, but not in this case

J. Period always has the most amazing mixtapes and this one is no different. Nneka is one of my favourite artists i’ve discovered in a while, she has got so much soul in her music.
I think they should give her a spot on Nas & Damian Marleys album Distant Relatives. Definitely going to cop her album when it drops, hopefully they put it out on vinyl.
