Audio: Wale “Inhibitions (Let Loose)” featuring Pharrell

Yet another track coming live and direct from Wale's twitter page. This song, "Inhibitions (let loose)" featuring Pharrell, doesn't sound like some demo ish and probably will appear on Wale's album. Attention Deficit will be out November 3rd.

Check it; who is Wale paying to post his songs on this site? Are you using OKP as a test bed or something? IF so, then you’ve posted another dud.

    A dud indeed.

not hating, but i don’t really like wale.

song ain’t that bad, but the beat don’t really fit the subject matter.

remove the bad female vocals, get some dudes spitting on it about something other than girls, like to hear a posse cut over this

    Uhhhhhh Im confused.

If the Neptunes/Pharrell track is sub par, then I’m afraid to hear the rest of this album. I’ve lost all interest in Wale… I haven’t bothered to listen to anything past 100 miles and running, and this is the reason.

hey cmonnn I hear ya, wale has been straying a little from what he brought to the table, but you should DEFINITELY check out the Mixtape About Nothin…one of my all time favorite mixtapes hands down, it expect it is much better than what the album will turn out to be, tho I hope I am proved wrong!

This slaps!!! Wale is good and folks need to stop hating. He is refreshing!! Its different but great. Kazim what don’t you like about him

I think I’ma have to agree with the masses on this joint. Dude is talented as hell, I think maybe the Neptunes just aren’t a good fit. They let me down on the last Com LP. They need to stick to the N.E.R.D. style and let hip-hop do its own thing.

this thing is horrible … he sounds just like every other pop, tight pants wearin, talkin bout nothin rapper out … NEXT!!!

    this shit stinks…. point blank

  12. avatar all hype no substance

this guy is putting out song after song after song… and they all suck.. Quantity over quality.. stay home and come up with something dope since you have all this publicity..

This sounds like N.E.R.D.’s latest single(http://www.okayplayer.com/news/Audio-N.E.R.D.-Soldier-featuring-Santigold.html). Not a coincidence since Pharrell is in N.E.R.D. too.

..just doesn’t sound interesting…music is thin, flow is feminine-like…cats like Wale have potential but are musically misguided…but seems like there’s an audience..just not me

  15. avatar Noncent$

Wale doing his thing can’t wait for the album to out.

  16. avatar !)))x(((!

im knew this would happen after listenin to mixtape about nuthin, he’ll get maINSTREEEEEEAM and it jus wont be the same! :( Wale isn’t for these kind of beats…

Dude never had it, never will. You know the machine can make anybody hot with publicity. But you’ve got to have the talent to back it up and maintain. Nothing I’ve heard really moves me. Seems like all the hot producers he’s working with don’t feel him either, because they’re serving him scraps of the studio floor for beats. If they were feeling dude they’d br bringing fire.

I don’t know if Attention Defecit should be theme of his album, because focused, he’s on fire – when he’s not it falls flat, lacks intensity, and seems like hes not really trying all that hard. If i wanted that, I’d listen to that jackass Kanye. Bring it Wale!
