"A playful, synth-driven hip-hop groove featuring a rapped verse from Phonte that evokes the band's Connected era." Phonte has such an unique rap-style, I wonder why he has the idea of singing like everybody else. That ain’t special. Was a big fan of Connected, because that was a special rap-love-mix. So I was really frustrated about the last album…

Te’s lyrical approach is extremely refreshing. My dream? Phonte joining the roots crew. Te and Black would be unstoppable.
i know phonte has a family to feed, so i understand the rap/singing emphasis considering the current environment in the industry, but he is a tier 1 rapper. can we please get a rapping album? i hate that i haven’t really been checking for him, because i am not into the hip-hop r&b mash up sound. i like phonte as a straight spitter.

I am a big RnB fan its not that I am one of these “if someone aint spittin I dont like it” type dude. But I am the only one that thinks Phonte isn’t even an average singer? The only reason Daykeeper got put up for the grammy was the RIDICULOUS production. Even his rapping seems watered down on these last 2 projects. The Listening, Minstel Show, Connected, all the mixtapes = TOP SHELF. LIAB and this = only dick riders finding this shit amazing, dope, or anything above mediocre. Phonte went from my top 3 Emcees to a guy I listen to now and get upset that he left what he did best behind over not wanting to be a “rapper” anymore and “growing up” do you, but know that the majority of fans want that Connected type fire out of you.

This cut is dope! I find it hard to believe that so many people aren’t feelin this. I feel as if FE is picking up right back where they left off. this familiar sound is unique all the way from the beat, the vocals, and the bars, its got that unmistakeable Foreign Exchange sound that’s right on time! Forget the haters Nic n’ Te n keep making them smooth FE joints for all your die hard fans cuz we out here!
