Audio: Q-Tip “Renaissance Rap (remix)” feat. Busta Rhymes, Raekwon & Lil Wayne

Lyrically, "Renaissance Rap" is one of the high points on Q-Tip's album, The Renaissance. So what does Kamal do? He gets some of Hip-Hop's heavyweights to set the track on fire. OS premiered the "Renaissance Rap (remix)" today featuring Busta Rhymes, Raekwon, (damn, twice in one day?) and Lil' Wayne. I know I didn't see that collabo going down.

It’s been a long time since I’ve heard a track where rappers go hard on a verse!! Reminds me of the 90′s short hook, and rappers spit. OH the good times!!! Big Track!!

  11. avatar Quealy Jackson

I am impressed. I can’t say more than that. Peace.

NUFF RESPECT DUE! I love the album track, but this remix is a front-to-back heater! Shouts to Tip and Bussa Bus for giving me that old good feelin’, and to Wayne for sitting comfortably among the greats on this one.

  19. avatar Artistik

I like, I like.. it does have that 90′s feel as every one mentioned.. Wow can this be happening.. the 90′s making a comeback.. i always thought so, and most of you all know.. As tip said “I said well daddy dont you know that things go in cycles” and its tru to the word with hip hop.. please believe the essence is still alive.. Yall dont hate on wayne tho man, He is an MC all the way please believe past all the bullshit.. Peace to Hip Hop..

Everyone held it down on this one. I’m not a big fan of Weezy but he held his own along side some legendary MC’s.

  27. avatar Scooba

Legends of the game show “Lil” Wayne how to bring that lyrical fire! Everyone knows that if wayne was on this joint by himself it would sound like all the other auto-tune BS he puts out. Not worthy to be on this joint by any means. Get’em Rae!
