Music artist Big Sean for this song “Cooler Than Me.” If you’ve heard Big Sean’s mixtape “Finally Famous” then these guys should sound familiar. Yes, the song is crazy pop, but F it, I’m feelin’ it. This song is cool and even though I’m a HUGE Big Sean fan, this is probably his worst verse ever. He can do so much better than this. He should hit the studio and re-do this track. He should rode the beat fast like he started to in the beginning. It would’ve went better. Or even if he stayed at this slow pace, he could’ve stepped the content up. (I feel the need to put in a No Hater disclosure in place of the overused and idiotic NO HOMO)

i go to school with this kid and listened to some of his stuff from freshman year when kids around campus were talking him up and i’m not gonna lie it was real weak. i figured this kid will fizzle and didn’t believe the hype. but after having him in the back of my mind and listening to this record, much respect and could only see him being successful in the future. a lot of potential here, especially considering who he is collaborating with and who is getting him some exposure. anyone from the GOOD music label, regardless of how “new” they are, is a huge step. congratulations and godspeed.
