Ok, that first song we posted from Mike Jaggerr, "Rainy Days," was cool and everything, but he really goes in on this one. With this new track "Away" Mike tells a true-to-life story, and the emotion is definitely felt in his bars. "…. a small piece of my life and memories. I think its time for some records with more substance, rather then just talking about how much i'm in the club making it katrina or thunderstorm or any other metaphor you can say for "making it rain." Look for his Eleventh Hour EP to drop soon.

It is truly a gift to be able to tell a story lyrically the way this artist does. I am thoroughly impressed with his music. It is a breath of fresh air when I am constantly being exposed to the mindless music that mainstream hip hop tends to play.

I can’t remember the last time I heard a story so vividly told. His story telling reminds me of Biggie, the way he captured where he was at mentally. Its like a movie, I can see each part played out as he recites it. Definitely a breath of fresh air. Okayplayer needs to do an interview!
