The resurrection of hip hop starts here!

  5. avatar mino

How is this the resurrection of hip-hop? Buckshot singing a 50 centish hook? this could have been a lot better. Why do we need to see the lyrics for these mediocre verses?

  6. avatar DJ CROSSFADER

this could of been so much better than this 2 legendary mc’s together and you get this pop crap the beat sounds like it was ment for 50 cent or souljah boy and the lyrics are terrible so dumb and watered down im not feeling it at all dont hate me just my opinion.

    mediocre

THIS IS NOT A GAME!!!!!..AND IF IT IS, THEN… REAL HIP-HOP JUST RAISED THE ANTE..REAL HIPHOP WILL NEVER DIE!!!!…FCUK THE RADIO!!!!!

They should’ve chose a different beat if they were going to knock on today’s commercial rap artists. I like both emcees but half the song was just droppin names… come with it if you’re gonna come with it. I don’t know about this one. Don’t just jump on the band wagon because of their name. I expected more from them.

  13. avatar jbabyhuey

this is not that krs-one fire, the hook no sir, the two could have came a little harder…..this track is pretty fucking weak

  14. avatar Intalectual

This track is efficient …..can’t wait for the album…burn your boom boxes cause they use the Radio as a means of Universal Mind control that is why only two companies own all of the radio stations….clear channel and radio one…they want to tell us what to listen to….tell us what to be and what to think and control our behavior…its a good thing we have rappers in the game like Krs and Buck to preserve real hip hop in an effort to save our hearts souls and culture

I’ve grown up in the culture. I was born and the culture had been here for a few years, already. Most people would say I grew up on “real” Hip-Hop. What is “real” Hip-Hop? There is no such thing. There’s good Hip-Hop. And, that’s determined by the individual listener. I definitely am a disciple of both Kris and Buck. I’m not a fan of this song. I’ve heard better from Kris, buck AND !llmind. “Real” Hip-Hop or not, this isn’t what it should have been. Peace.

Robot was really good tho. This is more young buck than buckshot. I gotta say Illmind is amazing but he probably made this one in 5 minutes (which is the way to go if you want to make a radio banger, but that aint my kind of stuff) I played 9mm Goes Bang 3 times in a row this morning tho.

  17. avatar Fahiym

Heard better from both and the beat lack luster………….

  18. avatar DJ CROSSFADER

this beat is fucking terrible its just a straight loop i really am not feeling it sounds like he made the beat in 5 minutes the chorus sounds like it is straight from 50 cent

Was it 88 or 89 when i 1st heard BDP. Then came buckshot in like 92 for me. Here we are in 2009 and they are still creating for the underground. Whether you like the hook, beat or lyrics, credit has to be given to these pioneers. Nothing like catching a concert where the artist or band has a catalogue of hits for you. Much luv for these old heads in the game still coming with the creative voices!!!!!!!!

who cares if they want that pop shit?

i invent the rhyme that was meant for your mind.

    this is the realnessss

Beat is nice, but the hook is wack. Still a good look overall, but let’s hope the album is a bit more inspired.
