Anyone else miss the old Lauryn Hill? Well this is as good as it gets for now, an unreleased song titled “World is a Hustle” spotted on the boards. Make sure you have nothing else planned for the evening before you press play though, the song is long as hell. To contribute to the nostalgia check out this 11 page (yeah, this is a real time consuming post) article Rolling Stone did on The Miseducation of Lauryn Hill. To celebrate it’s 10 year anniversary the piece disects the album and gets some insight from the albums many contributors (i.e. John Legend, Pras, D’Angelo). We still hope to someday get the REAL story from James Poyser.

great song, i love the musical arrangements, it is refreshing to hear, by far she is one of the greatest songwriters and lyricists of all time for male or female. Hope this is an intro of what is to come. what other artist you know of that has been out of the spotlight for 10 years and fans are still waiting….damn needless to say Lauryn….black women run this

I want to cry anytime I hear her sing-she’s one of our strongest pioneers and it’s like something we don’t know about is keeping her from coming back. We don’t know what’s goin on in her world, so we get these little glimpses through these ‘depressing songs’ that somehow make their way to us and make people like me write posts like this.
