Kanye West stopped by Angie Martinez' Hot 97 radio show earlier today and gave fans another taste of what to expect on his upcoming album. He debuted this song, "See Me Now" featuring Beyonce and Charlie Wilson, with Kanye, Lex Luger, and No I.D. handling the production. So y'all see him now, but the question is are y'all feelin this track? Keep in mind this is not an official single just some summertime ish for y'all to rock to. Look for the "Power" remix featuring Jay-Z to drop on Friday.

Sounds like Ye is back on his shit. This reminds me of the classic kanye i’ve been waitin to hear

  • don kwon

I like the lyrics but for some reason the instrumentals aren’t doing it justice.. it’s missing something. This could be a monster track but it’s pretty bland. Good intro to the album but this could’ve been epic.

  • really doe….

I mean really…have we lost all of our musical sensibilities and just accept anything. this shit is busy, unfocused, and not good. don’t front you know it’s the truth.

  • the soapbox killer:

Maybe it will sound better when I listen back at the stain cause this shit is avg at best . Might be cause I listening on my phones browser . Not really feeling this new stuff but everything after Graduation has been key to me.

  • Jay-dee

    I love Ye but…no

  • DJ Schwann

I was likin Power, I was hopin for a great comeback after the disaster that was 808s & Heartbreak, this is makin me lose hope a bit. Too pop-ish, and just cheesy. Idk, I hope the rest of the stuff is better. The rumors of Q-Tip, Premo, Pete Rock and RZA all workin on this CD might be hypin it up too much.

  • Mike Maven

Really agree with the comment about it being busy and unfocused. Don’t like B on this track AT ALL.

  • audio tech

‘Ye has gotten wack ever since that autotune garbage..was never a big kanye fan but at least b/4 he had the soul samples to complement his avg. lyrics, now his music is much too cheesy for me

  • Uhurube

Ye is Back, but that Picture is SUSPECT!!!!!

  • Naught

    Sounds like straight College Dropout.

Love Kanye’s lyrics, but the beat could use a little bit of buffing — the melodic structure is great though. Shit bounces.

  • deezy

All you clowns are corny. Stop hating. Whether you like it or not its gonna be a hit and ya’ll gonna jump on Kanye’s nuts.

  • G. Kubiak

How in God’s name did three people produce this nonsense? That makes it worse…C Dub sounds sleepy, like he needs a nap and Beyonce is just annoying in general…I agree w/ really doe…

  • watitdone

Okay but not a classic like his old shit.

  • EL3G

this shit corny… cheetos, fritos, doritos… corny

  • Pooz30

Sounds odd. Wrong beat. Sounds forced, not coming off natural.

  • puhh

this sounds like any other mainstream rapsong. I call that pop2. produced to make alot of money from 14 year old girls.

  • cla

Come on haters…It sure sounds kinda campy and uplifting, but the only characteristics that remotely indicative of today’s cookie cut pop is Beyonce, maybe the southern drum spill (which is characteristic of a lot of non pop hiphop), and its uplifting tone. All not sufficient nor necessary to make pop. It certainly does not seem targeted to be the cookie cutter itune pop single. If anything it sounds more like the closer of the album. Tell me where the throwback early ’90s gospel R&B sung by a ’70s old schooler is being played out today?

  • cla

    …I don’t think it’s the shit either…

  • splashgordon

this is one of those situations where I WOULD give this a pass if it was for a Disney or Pixar soundtrack for a film about an ugly duckling character turned swan or some ish. since its not, the majority of the feedback explains why this is not on the album.

  • eazy

    wow… so much hate.
I actually love the instrumental, the vocal sample is layered in a really cool way like singing in “round”.. cool summer jam.
Charlie Wilson and Kanye are pretty on point here.
Beyonce’s parts are totally forgettable though. Dont really add anything besides allowing him to make that self-referential joke at the end.
    still overall was pretty nice

  • Woops

this shit HOT GARBAGE! Not saying shit part twelve! Whyyyyyyy…

  • troubleman81

not bad at all….it sounds more college dropoutish

  • Big DAVE 792000

Really nice. I think people will do this song like the way I did “I Wonder” on Graduation. I heard a few times, hated it, then found myself singing it minutes later in the grocery store with my girlfriend. Dope track and nice lyrics.

  • Min

this shit is hot, but damn, could have at least mixed it.

  • Min

and charlie wilson is the fuckin man

  • Min

Also, thank you Kanye West for being an honest man and actually giving credit to those who co-produce these tracks!
Many “legendary” producers could learn alot from this..

  • jasper178

KANYE IS HANGING ON FOR DEAR LIFE…

this joint is all over the place!!! there is no focus. “If I don’t like it I don’t like it, it don’t mean that I’m hating!!!”

I heard better from yeezy!!! seems like he’s going backwards in the pop world…Pop Star!!!

Look mad homo in that picture too. Design is whack!

  • Jweezy

Reminds me a lot of college dropout, keep in mind it’s only a rough cut, lyrics are great, can’t wait to hear the final mixdown, kanye always does a lot between rough cut and final cut so this is really only a taste but he still does his thing on this one

And what’s with the hate on the uplifting tone? Would you prefer an alcoholic messed up Ye complaining about a broken heart with auto tune? Come on now

  • gregory kruxx

This track is busy but for a commercial track it has that college dropout almost hanging in it and so what if 3 people produced it!!! What people cant collab thats jus ignorant….

i dnt like beyonce but this tracks dope!!!

  • Hirokosaki

    Garbage I’m sorry

  • Hirokosaki

Oh yeah I only fuck with J Cole and Sudan that’s it right now

  • Shak Fresco

  • the3rdadam

so-so…some hot lines..shout to all the GD’s on my family block…state st., 63rd…., marquette rd…, shout to my lil brother (Vice)…(that line f’n killed me..lol)

  • soulful dee

I respect people’s opinion but to me there is nothing wrong with this! All those saying it sounds like college dropout is right! I think that’s what they were going for. 6 years ago people would have been like yo! this is hot, not it’s so so? I think the album gonna be great! Power and this, solid tracks. “He just stepped up in Nobu like it was whole foods” yeah some people might want get on google for that one LOL

  • se.po

    POP MUSIC!!!! 1 MO WACK-TRACK IS PASSIN THROUGH THE RADIO STATIONS….HERE ON OKAYPLAYER WE’RE LOOKIN 4 REAL SHIT AND NOT DAT KIND OF B U L L S H I T!!!!

  • Godzillaman

This is lame. Kanye hasn’t put out a good track since his sophomore album bar a couple of tracks on graduation.

  • Godzillaman

The production doesn’t fit with the lyrics. Not to mention the production is weak. That drum track is whack.

  • KiNtaRoWeSt!!!!

I made it through 15 seconds before I gave up and hit the bottle of whatever alcohol was close enough to make me forget those 15 seconds I lost…..to quote one of the greats from Ren & Stimpy…”No Sir, I Don’t Like It!”

  • Chea!

Still with the ads on Okayplayer I see. No bueno.

Track is pretty cool, except for the Beyonce part. heehee.

  • D.Aaron

I personally think this song is great with a great combination of artists, Beyonce adds a modern spin to it&Charlie takes us back in the day a bit&Kanye just simply does him. Great track.

  • kESKAMO

    yay killed it

  • kESKAMO

DAM HATAS CH1LL DA MAN IS GIVEN US GOOD MUSIC
