Audio: J. Cole “Premeditated Murder”

This past Friday, some new heat from J. Cole hit the net. The song is called "Premeditated Murder," and there's no doubt he murks this ish. We're not sure if this will be on his upcoming debut LP, but I can't imagine this not making the cut.

I would hope it’s Black Thought… Common was # 1 after I saw him live like 8 years ago, # 2 was Kweli and # 3 was Black Though.

Now Thought is # 1, Kweli is # 2 and Common is # 3… Com could easily move right back up there when he tours for the next album. I think Common is without a doubt the best live MC in terms of sounding absolutely perfect and not missing a single rhyme. He sounds just as good as the album in person.

But nobody can touch Black Thoughts work ethic right now.

Shamz my choice is still Jay Electronica. He has the right charisma and lyrical content. He’s a true throwback MC in my opinion. Cole is tough just depends on how he comes out if he sells his soul or makes good music. #3 is Joel Ortiz although he’s not new I still see him in this cohort of MCs. I haven’t liked too may other new cats since Little Brother came out… What do you think?
