Audio: Gilles Peterson’s Havana Cultura Band “Think Twice (4hero Remix ft. Danay & Carina)

It's never a bad look having Gilles Peterson in the news-blog two days in a row. This time, his Havana Cultura Band is the focus. Here is an interpretation of J Dilla's Welcome to Detroit track, "Think Twice" (originally performed by Donald Byrd, thanks Dave) The song is remixed by Marc Mac of 4hero featuring Danay and Carina adding a nice Cuban twist on this classic cut. The song will appear on the upcoming Brownswood Recordings release, Gilles Peterson Presents: Havana Cultura Remixed. The album will include remixes of Louie Vega, MJ Cole, Carl Cox, Seiji, and many others – look for it to hit stores June 7th.

Original from Donald Byrd to Tribe’s Footprints to Main Source “Looking at the Front Door to J Dilla feat. Dwele “Think Twice” and many other versions… this is truly a great version of a classic song.
