diamond district…great music but they SUCK live..caught them in philly a few days ago. They went on 2nd cause they thought the crowd was gonna be light by the time they went on so i heard..again the opening acts, 84 and Hustle Simmons were way better. Also i saw them arguing outside with some of the artist? Oddisee looked like he was bein pretty ignorant to the promoters..after that, to be honest, i was turned off by them mostly because they didnt do they thing live..sorry yall!
I heard ’bout Philly- was some promoter mistakes, like 4 hours of opening acts. Heard Odd handled it like a man, wouldn’t even accept pay, dude’s stand up. Everywhere else they been been live as hell – A3C, CMJ – Diamond District holds it down live & ya’ll already know that “In The Ruff” was the best underground album of 2009 period. that is all.
