As we told you, DMV trio Diamond District will be releasing the retail version of their album, In The Ruff, on October 27th. The retail version will include a few exclusive songs and remixes that did not appear on the original free-download version from earlier this year. Yesterday they dropped one of the new tracks off the LP, "Hologram." The beat on this track is on some raw boom-bap ish. In The Ruff is available now on vinyl, with the CD and digital release set for October 27th.

This is okay. The Hip-Hop scene in D.C. is “JIVE WACK;” so this is a refreshing surprise. I’d like to hear more stuff by these cats.
In the ruff is dope to ride 2 coastin through the city. I was expecting 2 turn it right off but ended up listening to the whole thing…twice! I Fuks wit the Diamond District. Now, Wale a different story I cant seem to catch the wave with that guy. Not shittin but I don’t get it, yet.
