Def Jux is definitely branching out these days, supporting their first non-hip-hop signees Chin Chin with their upcoming new release (still to-be-named).  "GG and the Boys" is the first single off the new album, and if you were digging that 80's Yacht Rock post in The Lesson a while back, you are in for a treat.  Think The Love Boat meets "Computer Love," with a flavoring of 70s inspired soul and funk.  These guys are also NOT to be missed live!  Follow me after the jump for an invite to their CMJ show in NYC this Wednesday, a Def Jux showcase which  also features Endless Boogie at the L.E.S.'s favorite watering hole, Max Fish.  Also, as soon as we have a release date for the album we'll let you know, but look for it early in '09.
