DJ JS-1's new album, No Sellout (Ground Original 2), is in stores now via Fat Beats Records. As we mentioned before, the album is laced with over 40 guest artists (I ain't typin' that lineup again, click here). Here is the latest track, "Nuthin'," featuring some well respected mic vets, CL Smooth, Sadat X, and Brother Ali.

Yo, I found it kinda funny that CL shouts out js-1 and sadat but not ali. Then on ali’s verse he sayes that he suck on the track at the end. Hmmm, nothin too crazy but made me think for a sec. P.S. Ali’s verse was the dopest. Sick delivery straight up.
Ali said he “snuck on the track” not “suck on the track” (maybe it was a typo on your part, if not you should listen again, it only took me one listen to determine that) and if taken literally would explain exactly why Ali didn’t get a shout out. Dope song.
This track was already on Sadat’s latest album, just him and C.L. Smooth. That’d be why there’s no Ali shoutout. In fact, they already featured the Sadat/C.L. version on okayplayer a couple months back. Dope instrumentation at the end of this track. “Can we get past this radio slop?”
not feeling this all. CL sounds dated and trying too hard. Always like Brother Ali but not on this..BOOOOOO
CL is my dog, the brother is timeless. The track just did not fit him. Track could have been better. Sadat was cool though.
CL killed it! WTF on yall mind
You kiddin’ me?! CL way outshined Sadat on this one.
