Audio: Cobe Obeah "Low Key"

Posted by Shamz on

Young boi Cobe Obeah is back with another joint to have you questioning how dude is only 20 years old. This track is called "Low Key" and is one of the best I've heard from him so far. In my opinion this is exactly the type of Hip-Hop there isn't enough of these days. Find out more about Cobe in this interview he did with Scheme. Cobe's project, Foreign Intelligence, is droppin' in April.

The Malcolm X intro is very wise for a young brotha to put in his song, I love the creativity. This is the type of hip hop we need. I love Malcolm and so I must rock to this song. Good work

The power of this track is not only in the beat, style, but the message. The message is deep. This young brotha is a mathematician on the microphone, and I wonder what else is coming from him. He is something special, I can feel it.

The Malcolm X excerpt is perfect with the lyrical content. Thats genius for him to talk about the history of African people and their contributions to the civilization of humanity, in first person. The song is about being prideful of our African roots. Great concept brother. I have been slapping this song for a while. I learn something everytime I listen to it.
