I assure you, it's worth your while to listen to every second of that J Dilla Tribute show we posted earlier today. But, if you just want to get to the rhymes for the sake of iPod updating, nah right uploaded Black Thought and Q-Tip's freestyles from the show as separate files. Message to Black Thought: one of the greatest. respect due… They need to drop that mic and get another one because Ive seen and heard a lot of freestyles on Tony Touch’s show, but there has never (and never will be again) something as incredible as that 1st flow out the gate.

…KYOT DAYUM!!!!!! I’ve been a Black Thought/Roots fan since 94 when my cuzzo put me on to them. I’ve seen him and the band perform live a few times. The one thing that always happens is that I’m just left in utter disbelief. We talmbout doing a whole set with songs from their catalog and then doing the tribute part, paying homage to Kane and G Rap…You already know how wordy and multi-syllabic their older shit was; this dude’s breath control, ability to ride a beat, intricate, clever wordplay and delivery is off the fukkin charts! Like Toca said, halfway through the second jawn my face started hurtin from the Bobby Brown seizure face I was makin. Black Thought, Reek Geez. The. Bad. Lieutenant. God. Dammit.
