Audio: Big Boi “Lookin’ 4 Ya” feat. Andre 3000 & Sleepy Brown

So as we mentioned, Big Boi's new album, Sir Lucious Left Foot: The Son of Chico Dusty, will be in stores July 6th via Def Jam. After the jump, you'll find the final tracklisting. Without me saying anything, I'm sure your first question is "Where's Andre 3000?" Allegedly, label politics are keeping Dre from making an appearance on the LP. For now, listen to what could have been with this song that was presumably meant for the album, "Lookin' 4 Ya" featuring Andre 3000 and Sleepy Brown.

Don’t punish Big Boi for this! Jive won’t release the songs that 3000 on because Big Boi had to leave Jive to get his album released. Punish Jive by buying this album that was released on Def Jam. Big Boi released this for free so be happy!

Politics is a mutha….a. Stop being a nuisance and give the people what they wont. It’s good thing to know that the fans got Kast’s support. Shalom to Kast and to hell with jive.

Yes, I believe Rap is a young man’s game but it seems like the grown folks are the ones who are doing what’s supposed to be done. Peace.

This is DOPE!!! OutKast represents continuously!!!

    @ Quealy Jackson

How is Rap a “young man’s game?” It’s music; creative expression. Why would an artist limit his or her creativity to a certain group? Would you ask Stevie Wonder or Prince to stop making music, because they’re older? That mentality fuels the crap music that’s being shoved down the throats of the masses, by these worthless record companies and by commercial radio. And I’m sure that we’re all in agreement, that radio eats “da’ poo poo!!!”

This is ill, it’s so funny how large the difference between blog posts are on this site though some artists/tracks are amazing, while others seem like their straight up paid for by artists to get their wack shit up here

    hahahaha

    anyways this is dope

i don’t understand why jive is blocking Andre from being on Big Boi’s solo. Having Andre on a few tracks would help the outkast brand they own and would help them soothe the water with Big Boi, thus getting them closer to what they desire, a new Outkast album and a 3000 solo album. i dont understand how jive had hits like shutterbug and mr.patterson for 3 years!!! They couldn’t figure out how to maket this…it’s sad.

freakin dope !!! ( period end of story)
