We always try to push some left of center music here at OKP when we get the chance. Today, Boston five-piece collective, Bad Rabbits, slides right into that lane for us. They bring their brand of "New Crack Swing," with music that is described as r&b, rock & roll, soul, and funk. Check out their song "Can't Back Down," and listen to  a sampler of their debut EP, Stick Up Kids, here.

don’t like music like this. Have never been a funk person. esp not 80s-style synth driven funk a la Rick James. I’m sure you old heads love this though (read: 30+).

It gets more my speed around 2+ minutes in though.
