Audio: Alicia Keys "Try Sleeping With A Broken Heart"

So I may have to eat my words, after saying that Alicia Keys was sounding exactly the same on this new album (based on her first single). Alicia takes it to the left and kills it with her second single, a synth laden track entitled "Try Sleeping With A Broken Heart." The song was produced by Jeff Bhasker, who it shouldn't surprise you to know also worked on Kanye's last album. The Element of Freedom will be out on December 1st.

even if i forget the fact that AK has become so fake to me for this whole swizzthing, still don't like the song, people 80's are over. You can be influenced by it but do we have to do the whole thing again, jeez. Although the end might be wonderful, I didn't make it that far.

oh yeah... and I think it goes without saying that Alicia ain't one of those vocalists, so please excuse the omission of clearly stating that... I like this track.

For the most part I have hated the reemergence of the synth sound. After listening to this song I must admit it's probably not the synth sound I can't handle. It's the crappy voices of crappy so called vocalists singing over the synth tracks that makes me want to light the radio on fire!
