not wack… but not much more than ‘alright’. i dunno man, something about the mix bothers me, like the beats just aren’t as loud as the vox. they’re dope beats, but.. i guess i love 9th so much, i was just expecting a little bit more.
There aint much break beat joints on there.. However, 9th got his signature soul sound down pat. A lotta cats cringe when they hear more of 9th’s drums, but the man does what he feels. Everything dont gotta bump like a primo beat, some cats need to just chillax and build!!
This is alright… but nothing tops the 9th’s American Gangster Remix album.
