Let's be honest, 2 Chainz is not exactly reinventing the lyrics game. Even his most-quoted (?) line "Coupe the color of Mayonaisse" is basically a dumbed down version of Kanye's "I push Miracle Whips" line from several years previous. Yet sometimes dumbing down is the sincerest form of dumbing out and even Black Thoughtevidently enjoys shouting out "Black diamonds #APARTHEID" every once in a while. Which is why a thread that started yesterday on the Okayplayer boards with the question: "anyone else got 2Chainz Tourettes?" has had us dying a thousand deaths ever since. Here are a few of the choicest 2Chainz quotables; phrases you may find yourself yelling in inappropriate situations--on a date, at the office, on a playground surrounded by impressionable young children--for no good reason (it's not clear yet why 2 Chainz rhymes effect the neural mechanisms involved in impulse control this way, but we got the OKP med-techs looking into it).
