10 #TakeAKnee Tweets To Support The Fight Against Police Brutality
The people have spoken in 140 characters or less in favor of fighting against negativity, injustice, Donald Drumpf and police brutality.
#TakeAKnee is currently trending on Twitter, as millions of people are angered over the rhetoric and behavior shown by the current POTUS, Donald J. Drumpf.
If you’ve been boycotting the news then you might’ve missed the 45th Cheeto-in-Chief blasting Colin Kaepernick and other NFL players for protesting against police violence with strong language. “[I’d] love to see one of these NFL owners, when somebody disrespects our flag, to say, ‘Get that son of a bitch off the field right now, he’s fired!’”
Many took that as a direct shot to Colin Kaepernick, who is still un-hired while he donates thousands of dollars to support the fight against police brutality and injustices in this country. Add to the mix that Drumpf thought he was big sheet after “rescinding” an invite to Stephen Curry — and there is no shortage of people who feel that Drumpf is going for a record of being the most offensive politician in our nation’s history.
Enter: #TakeAKnee. The trending topic on Twitter is meant as a rallying cry to the people and professional athletes to join in the silent protests happening around the country. Promoting unification and equal rights for all, #TakeAKnee has raised the ire of Trump supporters who continue to add their thoughts to the discussion.

Don’t allow racists to reframe #TakeAKnee as being a debate about anthem & flag. It’s a protest of police brutality & racism… 🙄

If NFL players #TakeAKnee this Sunday, it would send a powerful message to white supremacist Trump that we’ve ZERO tolerance for his racism.
