New Gorillaz music is a good

It took the Gorillaz six years to release their latest album, Humanz, which dropped back in March. Turns out we won’t have to wait long for the next one.

Gorillaz illustrator Jamie Hewlett recently was interviewed by a German publishing company called TASCHEN. During the interview Hewlett revealed that the band is gearing up to release another album next years.

Hewlett said:

“We’re working on another Gorillaz album that we’re going to be releasing next year…Usually we have a good five-year break between each album but we decided, ‘You know what? Let’s keep going. Because there’s ideas for a few more albums so we’re going to go straight into that. So that will be all of next year and probably the year beyond that.”
