Cardi B appeared on Forbes’ Hip-Hop Future Moguls chart thanks to her huge 2017, while after years in the rap game, Tyler, the Creator finally makes the list.

Forbes already released its leading money makers list where Diddy and Dr. Dre led the charts. Now, the financial mag is highlighting those who are poised to follow in their footsteps, as they’ve dropped the 2018 edition of Forbes’ Hip-Hop Future Moguls List. The 10-member club full of elite rap stars features the likes of Lil Pump, 21 Savage, Post Malone, Cardi B and Tyler, the Creator.

Fueled by next generation magnates such as Cardi B, who had an impactful 2017 and seems to be doing the same in 2018, and Tyler, the Creator — this year’s list is more diverse than ever before in terms of ages, ethnicities and genders of the selections. Specifically with Cardi B, the Bronx baddie has proved to be a force to be reckoned with as her song, “Bodak Yellow,” charted #1 on the Billboard Hot 100, making her only the second female rapper to ever chart without any features.

Tyler, the Creator, however, makes the list for the first time after years of being a chart-topping and respected MC. His 2017 effort, Flower Boy, which peaked at #2 on the Billboard 200 also earned a slot in our Best Albums of 2017 list.
Producer Wondagurl, Lizzo, Playboi Carti, Vic Mensa and Dave East are among the other Forbes 2018 Hip-Hop Future Moguls on the list.
