Nas and Black Star (the rap duo made up of Yasiin Bey, formerly Mos Def, and Talib Kweli) are headlining a concert at Colorado's Red Rocks Amphitheatre alongside Pusha T in the summer. Openers include Brother Ali, and Colorado's very own ReMINDersTickets run from $59.50 to $89.50, with the concert taking place on Tuesday, July 31, 2018.

Although not listed as Black Star, Bey and Kweli will be performing alongsideErykah Badu for Cincinnati Funk Fest.

Several weeks ago Bey announced that the follow up to Black Star's first album is in the works.

"New Black Star with Madlib, Talib Kweli, Yasiin, coming soon!" Bey said during a Madlib DJ set in Denver, Colorado. "All Madlib, all day. 2018, Madlib, Black Star. Madlib Black Star."

During another Madlib DJ set in San Francisco, Bey made a surprise appearance where he told those in attendance that he had recorded the first verse for the new Black Star album.

However, Kweli recently said that Bey's announcement came prematurely.

"It looks like it might happen," Kweli said to HipHopDX during a show in Boulder, Colorado. "I found out on the internet the same way y’all did. We’ve been talking about doing an album with Madlib for years. That’s been an idea we’ve had for so long, but for him to make that announcement…I didn’t know he was going to make the announcement."
