Miles Bonny Returns With Ta-Ku To Open Their Arms On “I’ll Be Here For You” [Premiere]

The Tres Piedras, New Mexico original, Miles Bonny, connects with producer Ta-Ku to unveil some deeply rich feelings on “I’ll Be Here For You”.

The last time this site wrote about Miles Bonny, he was paying his loving respects to the life and legacy of Phife Dawg. It was a cherished moment from someone who was greatly influenced by the late, great A Tribe Called Quest frontman.

Fast forward to today (Sept. 28) and we’re pleased to share a new offering to the @Okayplayer collection plate in the form of “I’ll Be Here For You”. A jazzy, experimental effort from Miles, he also reconnects with celebrated producer Ta-Ku, which appears on his new album, Let It Out.

Emotive, evocative and intimate, Miles Bonny merges perfectly with Ta-Ku’s soulfully sound beat work. For audiophiles looking for a project that’s full of personal reflection and a chilled-out vibe then “I’ll Be Here For You” is what you need ASAP.

Listen to “I’ll Be Here For You” below, pre-order Let It Out before it’s too late and definitely cop it when it hits Oct. 13 via Bastard Jazz.
