What Do You Think Of Miguel’s Cover Of Daniel Caesar’s “Get You”?
Miguel follows Justin Bieber in attempting a cover of Daniel Caesar’s “Get You.” What do you think of his performance?
Miguel is an excellent vocalist who can flip songs, as well as he can his own voice. But he’s also been adept in sending music covers to the great beyond. In the past, the Los Angeles singer-songwriter has laced his voice over SZA’s “The Weekend,” Rihanna “Kiss It Better,” Pink’s “Just Like a Pill,” and Tupac’s “I Get Around.”
Now, next on his list is Daniel Caesar’s “Get You” as part of his participation with Spotify Singles.
Recorded in New York at Spotify’s own studios, Miguel’s version is a bit more rock-and-roll than the gospeldelic soul of the original. Feauturing an electric guitar, hand snaps, and Miguel’s signature vocals — “Get You” sounds like an original take on the Freudian standout song.
The “Sky Walker” crooner’s version comes shortly after Justin Bieber attempted his own version, which he performed in front of Daniel Caesar at Coachella last weekend.

In addition to dropping the “Get You” cover, he cut another version of “Sky Walker” for his Spotify Singles without Travis Scott. Backed by an acoustic guitar, Miguel sounds happy, charged and excited on the new rendition, which you should press play on and enjoy.
