The Six Most Vicious Barbs From Ma$e’s “The Oracle” Diss To Cam’ron
The former Children of the Corn Harlemites have become rival enemies, as Ma$e has fired his latest shot in his ongoing beef with Cam’ron.
Ma$e dropping bars in 2017? It seems so, as the Harlem World MC has returned salvo to Cam’ron after the latter went in on the former on the song, “It’s Killa” from his The Program mixtape. Airing out old history and threatening M-A-dollar-sign-E’s life is not going to go unnoticed. The former pastor got back in the booth to release the Soundcloud cut, “The Oracle,” which goes in on past run-ins (“The Rucker” incident), shady business dealings with Cam’s DipSet crew and how Damon Dash even encouraged Ma$e to start a riff with Killa back in the day.
The song, which you can hear on the following page, got the game’s attention immediately. According to Ma$e in a sit down with Genius, he explained just why he had to “spank” Cam one good time, saying, “I let too much pass and I was gonna continue to let it pass but when somebody don’t stop—I had to just spank him one time. It was really the point when Cam’ron said he had to kill me. I let a lot of things slide, but when you start getting to the body harm aspect of it, I can’t let that slide. That’s really all it’s about.
Going into vivid detail about Cam’s habits and why Ma$e is beefing with him caught everyone up in a tizzy. To highlight some of the most scathing, vicious, outlandish barbs from Mason Betha, we picked out these TK lines that made us rewind the tape and say, daaaammmmnnn!
