Kanye West is now the latest hip-hop heavyweight to endorse controversial new rapper Tekashi 6ix9ine.

On Tuesday, more photos surfaced online of Tekashi and Kanye back in the studio for the second time this week. West also posted a sketch of the rapper on his newly-activated Instagram account confirming that a collaboration is on the way.

Photographer TheDonCanon posted photos to Instagram of the rappers together in a studio reportedly in Colombia, with the caption: “Back at it like a crack addict.” .

Nicki Minaj was criticized over the summer for collaborating with 6ix9ine on the Billboard no.1 hit “FEFE.” She’d planned to take the rapper on her NickiHndrxx international tour with Future.

In 2015, 6ix9ine plead guilty to the use of a 13-year-old child in a sexual performance when he was 18. In a video posted online, the girl was seen engaging in oral sex while Tekashi stood behind her. The then teen entered into a plea agreement that stated he could not commit another crime for two years so that he wouldn’t have to register as a sex offender. Since then, he’s re-offended twice and could face three years in prison and may have to register as a sex offender.
