Melbourne, Australia’s own MC Jordan Dennis may be rooted in poetic sounds, but we promise this is an artist who will make a name for himself real soon.

Jordan Dennis is a name you should commit to memory ASAP. This impactful talent from Melbourne, Australia has made a name for himself as the frontman for Billy Davis (A Family Portrait), which saw it and his name being supported around the globe, plus appearing alongside Anderson .Paak and NoName on stage.

Now, as the man with the energetic live stage show and verses to boot plans on expressing his own journey, we are ecstatic to share with you @Okayplayer his first solo releases of the year. His debut single “Crumbs” offers the first taste of what’s to come—and boy is it sonically delicious. Featuring production from Tentendo, who serves as one-half of Billy Davis’ production team, and an additional verse from Blasko, “Crumbs” showcase Dennis’ star qualities as he takes his giant leap into the forefront.

“With this video, we wanted to have a super fun and colorful overall look and feel to match the character of the song itself,” Jordan told us exclusively via e-mail. “Originally set to be shot outside during the day we decided to flip it and shoot indoors at night at the scene of a little house party since we now have a few other releases that will visually link into this debut single.”

“Crumbs” is a strong musical introduction to an MC who is earnest, focused and dedicated to providing the real to the masses. As the song suggests, Dennis’ new relationship in love, as such it will be in the industry, might be rife with confusing moments, but his penchant for effervescent raps, catchy hooks, and sharp production will prove to be an upside for this Down Under musician.
