Eminem Gets Real About White Privilege on New Single "Untouchable"

Eminem strikes again

On Thursday afternoon, Eminem released the album cover for his ninth studio album, Revival. The cover features the legendary rapper holding his face with the American flag in front of it.

Judging by the cover, and "The Storm" freestyle, it seems like Em is about to get real political. The new single "Untouchable" shows how political the rapper is about to get.

The song is about white privilege. On the track, Eminem plays a white man who is very aware of his privilege and who harrases a black man. The last long verse features Em rapping from the perspective of a black man.

It's an interesting song from the rapper, who is dropping Revival next Friday. Recently, during an interview he did with Elton John for Interviewmagazine, Em talked a little about the album:

"The album is called Revival. Its a reflection of where Im at right now, but also I feel like what I tried to do was diversify. Ive tried to make a little something for everyone."
