New Music: D.R.A.M. Is All For A Good Time On "The Uber Song" + "Group Thang (Demo)"
That Virginia boy is on his grown-and-beautiful on these two new loosies.
Gawd, you got to love Fridays, man. Not only is the weekend right here, but D.R.A.M. is right on time with some new BBQ, rooftop party vibes with “The Uber Song” and “Group Thang (Demo)”.
The former is an expertly done, bounced-filled cut that finds D.R.A.M. doing real ass music that is fun + sexy for us grown folks. “Ain’t nuttin’ but a 20-sumthin’ dollar ride for my baby,” he croons over the MeLo-X and OZ-produced beat. The funky number is something to play to have a good time + get your flirt on with that sexy one that’s caught your eye.
’80s babies will recognize the line from “Group Thang (Demo)” upon first play. Those too young to know about it, here’s a hint. Straight-up-and-down, D.R.A.M. seems to be having a romp with his newfound success after doing numbers on his debut project, Big Baby D.R.A.M., and most recently, being featured on The Gorillaz‘s album cut, “Andromeda”.
Does this mean that D.R.A.M. is soon to hit us off with a new project full of summer heat? Or, is the two-up, two-down rapper-singer just teasing us with some much needed carefree vocals? Either way, showing love to the ride-sharing company is sure to increase his rating something dramatically.
