Drake Follows “Duppy Freestyle” With New Song “I’m Upset”

With Scorpion reportedly on its way next month, Drake SZN picks up a bit as he follows “Duppy Freestyle” with a new song called “I’m Upset”.

Toronto’s own Drake released a new song called “I’m Upset” reportedly from his forthcoming album Scorpion which you can stream above and below. According to Drake, the “Duppy Freestyle” is now in the past as he is back in “album mode”. The new song has some pretty ominous illustration as you can see a scorpion crawling on the back of a skeleton hand, while a blood moon serves as the atmospheric backdrop.

“I’m Upset” finds Drake not feeling some kind of way about his “Duppy Freestyle” verses, but more in his bag over a relationship gone bad. “Say she got some thing she gotta come here and collect, that shit is in a box to the left, to the left,” Drake raps using a clever Beyoncé reference. Since the beginning of the year, Drake has been letting out loosies such as “God’s Plan,” “Nice For What,” “Diplomatic Immunity,” and even shared the wealth with the likes of Lil Baby, BlocBoy JB, and the Migos.

The verdict is still out on whether this is a standalone single or if it will appear on the tracklist for Drake’s Scorpion, but we’ll find out soon enough since the project is due out next month.
