Salute To Your 57th Born Day God…
I Love You And We All Miss You!
Wish You Were Here In The Physical Form…
As You Already Know We Got Things Covered Down Here and KC Is Good, Lana Is Good Trish, Jay and Joci are Good.
As I Will Continue To Say, You’re 1 Of 1.

In 1989, Guru connected with DJ Premier to form Gang Starr, one of the greatest rap duos of all time. Throughout the ’90s, Gang Starr put out three straight classic albums: Daily Operation, Hard to Earn, and Moment of Truth. During their time together, both artists made time to do their side ventures; Primo produced numerous classics for the likes of The Notorious B.I.G. and Nas while Guru launched his Jazzmatazz series.

The last album Gang Starr put out was The Ownerz in 2003.

Later in years Guru and DJ Premier’s relationship splintered. On April 19, 2010, Guru died at the age of 48 due to cancer. The legendary rapper had just gone into cardiac arrest following surgery.

July 13th was the 19 year anniversary of Full Clip: A Decade of Gang Starr, the amazing greatest hits completion from the duo. Do yourself a favor and stream it today.
