Death Grips Announces New Album ‘Year of the Snitch’ With New Song “Streaky”
The Death Grips trio returns with a new project called Year of the Snitch by dropping a new song “Streaky” for our ears to enjoy.
The experimental hip-hop band, Death Grips is back and are coming for the crown. Consisting of MC Ride, drummer and producer Zach Hill, and recording engineer Andy Morin — Death Grips have shared a new song called “Streaky,” after announcing their forthcoming album Year of the Snitch. For that project, which according to the group is “coming soon,” they worked with producer Andrew Adamson (director of Shrek and Shrek 2) and Tool bassist Justin Chancellor.
Last year, Death Grips shared two tracks—the 22-minute “Steroids (Crouching Tiger Hidden Gabber Megamix)” and Zach Hill’s 11-minute electronic drum solo. With anticipation for Death Grips reaching a fevered pitch on-and-offline, this new work from them may be just what the doctor ordered. If you’re just getting familiar with the Sacramento, California group then be sure to check out their previous work, Bottomless Pit, which came out in 2016.
Until then, listen to “Streaky” underneath, and keep an eye out for more news on Death Grips.
