Returning for its second year, the Beats ‘n Bars Festival will be held on Sept. 22-23 in Durham, North Carolina.

Durham, North Carolina is quickly becoming a go-to-destination for music festival lovers. Already the home of the incredibly popular Art of Cool Festival, founder Crystal Taylor is adding another dope event-slash-conference in the form of the Beats ‘n Bars Festival.

Announcing its lineup, interested audiophiles will have a chance to meet, listen to and learn from the likes of Nitty Scott, G. Yamazawa, Nick Grant and Beats ‘n Bars headliner, Cyhi the Prynce. “We are more than thrilled to have Cyhi headline the festival,” Taylor said in a released statement. “The level of talent he brings in phenomenal, and we are excited to show him the culture of North Carolina, along with the caliber of NC-based talent.”

Beats ‘n Bars will also feature a conference portion, including “From One MC to Another: Navigating the Industry w/ Cyhi the Prynce,” and “Hip-Hop in Community Spaces” with Pierce Freelon. Both events, plus a host of others will take place when the Beats ‘n Bars Festival jumps off on Sept. 22-23 in Durham, North Carolina.
