Over the years Cookin Soul has proven to be an insanely competent fuser of frequencies. His remixes are the stuff of legend, and today he adds another to the belt by bringing two of the year's biggest hits to one 5-minute stretch.
Try as you might, Future's "Mask Off" probably hasn't escaped you, whether in its more recent Kendrick-assisted form or otherwise. With equal pervasiveness, Childish Gambino's "Redbone," the second single off his 2016 album, "Awaken, My Love!", has infiltrated even the most straight-edged palettes with P-Funk notes galore. Both songs have gone platinum in the last few months, and today, they are joined as one.
