Clifford “T.I.” Harris Jr. Arrested Outside His Gated Community
The Atlanta rap legend, T.I., was arrested and charged with disorderly conduct and public drunkenness while trying to get into his gated community.
Clifford “T.I.” Harris Jr. has made headlines once again as the Trap Musik rapper was arrested early Wednesday (May 16) morning while trying to get into the gated community where his home is located.
According to WSB-TV, Harris was arrested at about 4 a.m. as he was returning home. A police report shows that a security guard wouldn’t let the actor-and-musician into the neighborhood. He called a friend who also lived in the neighborhood and together the two men argued with the guard. “Don’t you know who I am?” T.I. said, according to police.
The argument led to Henry County Police officers to be called to the scene where T.I. and his friend were arrested on charges of disorderly conduct and public drunkenness. The friend also had a warrant out for his arrest, according to police. T.I., however, has since been released on bond.
Henry County is the same suburban community where police officers were caught on video slamming and choking a former NFL player recently.
T.I. most recently made headlines when he partnered with Kanye West for the latter’s song “Ye Vs. The People”. In addition to that, T.I. has an upcoming role in Marvel’s Ant-Man & The Wasp, which is slated to hit theaters next month.
This is still a developing story.
