Donald Glover took to Twitter to announce three Childish Gambino shows in New Zealand as part of another Pharos event.

The performances, which will take place November 23-25 this year, will be at an undisclosed location somewhere near the Auckland Airport. Musical guests will also be present throughout the three-day event, and although Glover has yet to announce a new album, Fam Rothstein, one of Glover's managers, has said that attendees "can expect new music in some capacity."

"Pharos right now, as it stands in fans' minds, is that it represents new music," Rothstein said to Vanity Fair. "But not committing to announcing a new album gives us more space to be able to shift while also not giving that much away."

In order to purchase tickets for the event you have to download the Pharos app, with a link to it provided by Glover here.

A year ago was the first Pharos event, which took place at Joshua Tree in California. Glover performed tracks from what would ultimately be his third studio album Awaken, My Love!

Okayplayer was in attendance for the event, writing:

"Pharos acted both as a glimpse into the future of how to hear an album, and as a watershed moment in how artists may choose to convey their music to listeners. In fact, Pharos is an order of magnitude above a mere surprise release. And will force everyone to rise to the insanely high bar he’s set with this music, concept, and experience."
