Bhad Bhabie Sues DJ Seude the Remix God Over “Cash Me Outside” Remix
The human internet meme-turned-fledgling rapper Danielle Bregoli, aka Bhad Bhabie, is suing DJ Seude the Remix God over a song he remixed.
According to TMZ, 14-year-old human internet meme, Danielle Bregoli, better known as Bhad Bhabie, has had her mother file a lawsuit against DJ Suede the Remix God over unpaid royalties. The suit claims that the DJ and his manager took advantage of Bhad Bhabie after her and her mother, Barbara Bregoli, agreed to let them use her voice and viral catchphrase—“Cash me ousside”—on the record.
TMZ obtained the legal documents which state Bhabie accepted a deal where she would receive half of the profits from the remix. Bregoli claims that DJ Suede refused to uphold his end of the deal after he wasn’t hired to be Bhabie’s touring DJ. The mother also insists that the DJ is “seeking revenge” on her daughter by denying her a fair cut of the reported $250,000 profit. “Every remix I say I’m not gonna do are the ones that go viral the fastest,” DJ Suede said in a 2017 interview with Rolling Stone.
DJ Suede was also the mastermind behind the #UNameItChallenge, which sampled gospel singer Shirley Caesar, and went extremely viral. Reports had came out that Caesar filed a $5 million lawsuit against DJ Suede for “unauthorized use” of the clip. The singer later would shoot down these rumors on social media, revealing her team had only filed a temporary injunction.
