Gladys Knight Honored Aretha Franklin With a Gospel Tribute at the AMAs

The AMAs honored the Queen of Soul.

The 2018 American Music Awards featured a few highlights last night. Among them was a tribute to the late legend Aretha Franklin.

Living legend, Gladys Knight lead the tribute for the show’s closing set with a soulful performance of “Amazing Grace.” She was later joined by Ledisi, Mary Mary, Donnie McClurkin, and CeCe Winans for an all-star medley of songs like “Climbing Higher Mountains,” “Mary, Don’t You Weep” and “How I Got Over,” honoring the queen of soul’s gospel roots.
