Could Kid Cudi & Kanye West Be Cooking Up A New Album Together?
An Instagram photo featuring Kanye Tudda, Cudder and artist Takashi Murakami could be a not-so-subtle hint at the crew joining forces again.
A Kanye West and Kid Cudi collaboration is going to have a myriad of things included: dope bars, great beats and an undeniable love of hip-hop. Despite having an on-again, off-again relationship, the two have publicly reconciled and have been giving hip-hop private investigators fits as to what their rejoining could possibly mean for the game.
Back in Dec. 2016, talks about a project between the two were ignited when Cudi’s tour drummer, Mike Moore leaked an in-progress project with Kanye vocals. The post was quickly deleted, but that collaboration, rumored to be called Everybody Wins, has returned to the public’s consciousness after artist Takashi Murakami posted this picture on Instagram.
Kid Cudi and Kanye West were on a recent trip to Japan where they connected with the man behind the cover for Graduation and the artwork featured in the “Good Morning” music video. “Long to [time] no see @kidcudi and #kanyewest. Thank you for coming to my studio. It was fire???.,” Murakami’s caption says as he, Cudi, and West stand in front of a wall at his studio.
Also there was G.O.O.D. Music’s first A&R and celebrated video director, Coodie Rock. The co-owner behind Creative Control also posted photos of the same visit to his own account. What makes Rock’s group photo interesting was the caption, “Coming Dec. 31st! #EVERYBODYWINS #GODisGREAT.” Is this true? Or is one of the G.O.A.T.s just pulling our goat?
