Earlier this week I saw a compelling image.  A Barack Obama/Fela Kuti mash-up t-shirt. It spoke to me for many different reasons, and I thought what could possibly be more appropriate to feature on the tails of Obama's fantastic victory? In Episode 7 of OkayplayerTV, Common takes a moment to discuss his new album, Universal Mind Control, what it means to represent Chicago, and being a part of the Soulquarian, okayplayer, and G.O.O.D. Music families. After last year’s awesome selection of Brother Ali, Ghostface and Rakim, Hip Hop Live did it again with one of the strongest shows I’ve seen in a long time.
