UPDATE: Terry Crews' sexual assault case against William Morris Endeavor agent Adam Venit has been dismissed.

The Los Angeles County District Attorney and the Los Angeles City Attorney both rejected Crews' criminal complaint against Venit according to a report from E! The former argued that the alleged groping didn't rise to the level of a felony, while the latter said that the case was "rejected because it was beyond the statute of limitations."

Crews has also filed a civil lawsuit against Venit. He is seeking monetary and punitive damages for assault, battery, sexual battery, sexual harassment, gender violence, and intentional infliction of emotional distress.

Late last year Terry Crews filed a civil lawsuit against William Morris Endeavor agent Adam Venit for sexual assault.

Now, Crews will have to go through a mental health examination before the case continues.

The mental examination is a part of a stipulation Venit filed with his lawyers, and requires Crews to agree to a seven hour examination that will include a "comprehensive psycho-social and medical history and the administration of mental status testing and psychological testing," according to a report from TMZ.

Both parties have agreed to the exam.

The alleged sexual assault took place in 2016 in California. In the lawsuit Crews accuses Venit of staring at him "like a rabid dog, sticking his tongue in and out of his mouth provocatively." After the alleged assault Crews then pushed Venit away, and turned to Adam Sandler yelling, "Adam, come get your boy! He's grabbing my nuts."

Along with the lawsuit Crews also filed a sexual assault police report against Venit. Crews had tweeted about the assault shortly after an expose detailing Harvey Weinstein's numerous sexual assaults was released last year.

"I understand and empathize with those who have remained silent. But Harvey Weinstein is not the only perpetrator," Crews wrote. "Hopefully, me coming forward with my story will deter a predator and encourage someone who feels hopeless."
